In our quest to discover more of the “real wine” of Lazio, we proudly introduce you to the wines of Colleformica and the father and son winemaking duo of Sergio and Paulo Bombetti. Made with 100% Sangiovese it’s pretty wild on the nose and deeply fruity on the palate with an almost sour beer/kombucha quality to it. Notes of cherry jolly-ranchers, tart berries, and sea salt. You can definitely taste the volcanic soil in this one!
