Cidres Polisson - Délicieuse
Off-Dry Cider • 6.2% ABV • 750 ml
Cidres Polisson is the brainchild of Hugo Grenon, who is well known in the world of wine and gastronomy in Quebec.
The cider comes from Oka, Quebec, and makes use of the all that nature has to offer. He took advantage of the presence of apple trees on the ground to produce cider. Hugo Grenon first trained as a winemaker with Domaine le Capréoles, which is why you will often hear him joke “I don’t know how to make cider”. They also gave themselves a great challenge which they took up brilliantly: to produce different ciders, each with its own identity. They make both still and sparkling cider, made in the ancestral method. The fruits will undergo semi-carbonic maceration for ~ 2 weeks, ultimately resulting in a cider that still feels like you’re biting your teeth into a fresh apple. . Let's say it's not called La Délicieuse for nothing! Aromas of apples, fresh caramel and maple.
