Cruse Wine Co. Cruse Tradition Rose Sparkling NV

A traditional method sparkling wine made with an eye towards the fruity and fun.

Grape: Pinot Noir + Chardonnay

Region: California, USA

'Tradition" Rose2 is produced from primarily Pinot Noir (68%) with Chardonnay making up the difference. Sourced from Rorick Heritage Vineyard in the Sierra Nevada Foothills, Alder Springs in Mendocino, Keefer Ranch in Sonoma and Linda Vista in Napa -- this new traditional method wine from Michael Cruse is a complete expression of California bubbly. Pressed in traditional Champagne cycle. Vineyards are fermented separately in neutral barrels with native yeasts. Only 565 cases were produced.

Michael Cruse was born and raised in Northern California and prides himself on producing wines that are unabashedly Californian and inherently delicious. Michael came to the wine business through his love of science. His moment of enlightenment was attending a lecture at Cal Berkeley by none other than Terry Leighton of Kalin Cellars! Michael was able to envision a path where his deep knowledge and appreciation for science could take him into the world of wine.
